whether you’re looking for a mitzvah or karmic balancing or to shake the terms of some ancient druidic curse or you just like little parks in quaint and charming neighborhoods, we’d love to point out its still possible to donate cash or platinum bullion to the impending* construction of Pickwick Park. we might not end up with enough to build the 200 foot crystal ferris wheel, but a little extra would go a long way toward some more reasonable yet equally joy-filled amenities selected through the most careful frivolity.

baked greats
Dear fellow humans,
For those of you out there that aren’t afraid of a little gluten we’ve recently stumbled upon a bevy baked goods that honestly should be called baked greats… because… well… you know.
We’re talkin’ chocolate croissants (oui), maple cream and apple croissants (oui oui), cherry berliners (ja), Scandinavian sweet pretzels (oh my), almond bear claws (even Goldilocks wouldn’t run away from these), and lets not forget the tried and true KatieMade Van Staden Mosbollettjies sweet bread as well as the perennial favorite Wild Rice and Onion Bread
While supplies last, folks!
we’re kinda famous
…kinda…
Our manager Mary went on KOLR10 to talk to Tom Trtan and our friend Beth Domann about all of the delicious and amazing thing we have in season right now! She did a great job — check it out!
baking with 417
did you know that our fabulous bakery, katiemade, offers baking classes at least once a month? 417 magazine tried one out and had a great time; you should too!
wanna take a class? you can find all of them (in a puckishly random order) and buy your ticket here!
produce public service announcement
PPSA (Produce Public Service Announcement): If you ever come across a fruit or vegetable in our establishment with a face on it, please know that it is 100% available for purchase. Don’t be fooled by their decorative visages, they are just as edible and delicious as their unadorned brethren.
pumpkin wonderland
evidently the ground outside the store is even more enchanted than we thought. its barely october and we woke up to a magical pumpkin patch. even squash is getting excited about our park.
and speaking of excited, we’re gonna take this opportunity to try and embarrass some of our dear friends at Kaleidoscope who donated a remarkably generous sum for our nascent park. Kaleidoscope, that was TOO much, but thank you and thanks to everyone for their ongoing support. and keep an eye on our website because we’ll be releasing more of our parkitect series each night this week. later, taters.
